A week after getting beat up for his two drops, Jets rookie wide receiver Devin Smith bounced back with a touchdown catch.
Smith made a nice, leaping catch for a 16-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give the Jets a 14-0 lead in their eventual 38-20 conquest of the Dolphins on Sunday. Smith had two catches for 33 yards.
“It was great,” quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick said. “It was such a trust throw. He had to cross the face of an inside-leverage corner.
