Dee Milliner’s show-me year off to head-turning fast start

It’s now or never for Dee Milliner with the Jets, and Milliner has no problem with that.

The Jets made their lack of patience with the oft-injured cornerback clear last spring, when they declined to pick up the fifth-year contract option Milliner was eligible for as the No. 9 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

But instead of sulking about it, Milliner appears to have embraced the precariousness of his situation with Gang Green through the first three days of training camp.

Milliner had another strong outing Saturday in the Jets’ first full-pad practice of camp, breaking up a pass and recording a sideline interception of Ryan Fitzpatrick, and so far is making the most of his opportunity to play with the starters with Darrelle Revis sidelined by a wrist injury.
