The expected became official Friday, when star cornerback Darrelle Revis was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Giants, and the Jets appear as if they will also be without last week’s Revis replacement, Marcus Williams.
Williams, who leads the team with five interceptions and started against the Dolphins while Revis was out with a concussion, did not practice Friday and is listed as doubtful after suffering a sprained left knee in the win against Miami.
Coach Todd Bowles said he was “skeptical” Williams could play after missing the entire week of practice, though the second-year cornerback held out hope the mild improvement over the past few days speeds up over the weekend.
