Former New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis has been cleared. A judge dropped all of the charges that Revis faced during a court hearing on Wednesday.
Revis was facing five criminal charges for an alleged assault in that happened in Pittsburgh last month. Rashawn Bolton, who is a longtime friend of the cornerback, testified that he came to the cornerback’s aid during the incident and knocked out two of the men, according to Austin Knoblauch of NFL.com. Bolton said that he intervened when he saw two men attacking the former Jets cornerback.
