Gov. Andrew Cuomo boasted that the Buffalo Bills are the only professional football team that actually plays in the state of New York — after they defeated the “NY” Jets and Giants — — in consecutive weeks.
Cuomo admitted he was entering politically perilous ground on Long Island Radio News Monday morning as he raved about the play of the Bills and their young quarterback Josh Allen, saying their early success “warms my heart.”
“Josh Allen I think shows a lot of promise. And I have to be careful here, forget politics aside, I root for all New York teams, OK,” Cuomo said.
