The Jets’ offense has looked like it did not belong in the Big Ten East in its past two games, never mind the AFC East.
But the Jets hope things are changing this week with the return of Sam Darnold against the Cowboys on Sunday. The 22-year-old quarterback has missed the past three games as he battled mononucleosis. Now he’s back and ready to lift the offense, which is currently ranked dead-last in the NFL.
Darnold practiced last week before the game against the Eagles, but the doctors did not clear him to play.
