It wasn’t all that long ago that excitement was in the air when the New York Jets announced they came to terms with free agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor. It was just a few years ago that Pryor had a breakout season with the Cleveland Browns and that such a playmaking wide receiver could be lethal on the Jets offense.
Perhaps last season was an omen for what the future looks like for Pryor. In 2017, with the Washington Redskins, Pryor didn’t live up to the hype and suffered a severe ankle injury that required surgery.
