Colorblind fans are livid over Jets and Bills uniforms

Most fans tuning in to Thursday night’s Jets-Bills game saw an early Christmas celebration — the Jets in all green, the Bills in all red. But it was a holiday the colorblind couldn’t see.

The “color rush” uniforms, which the NFL is rolling out for each team, are monochrome, with little deviations in style and no deviation in color. That presents an obvious problem for viewers who can’t distinguish red from green.

The jerseys, which were designed by Nike, were immediately panned by Twitter, but particularly by the segment of the population who couldn’t even separate the jerseys.
