Chris Ivory is reuniting with John Idzik.
Ivory, the Jets' running back, agreed in principle Tuesday night to a lucrative free-agent deal with the Jaguars, whose negotiator was John Idzik, the former Jets general manager who had traded for him three years ago, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed to NJ Advance Media.
That person spoke on condition of anonymity. Ivory's signing was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Though exact terms were not disclosed, but the person also said Ivory would be getting "way more" than $6 million per year.
