There’s a chance Nick Mangold might not play again this season.
During a Tuesday conference call, Jets coach Todd Bowles said “it’s possible” the team may have to place the veteran center on injured reserve. After missing four games with a sprained ankle, Mangold aggravated the injury during the Jets’ 41-10 loss to the Colts on Monday Night Football. And now, there’s a chance he could be shut down for the final four games. “Obviously for him to come back after having not played in a while, then come back and get hurt, I’m pretty sure it hurt the guy,” Bowles said.
