It's easy to go gaga over Sam Darnold's first start.
After all, the Jets rolled to a 48-17 win in the rookie's debut. And the 21-year-old kid looked good doing it, too.
But Todd Bowles wants everyone to pump the brakes.
"It's only been one game," Bowles said. "To sit here and say whether he's great or whether he's trash or whether he's anything else is kind of way too early for that. He's played one game, he has a lot of years to go and he'll build it as he goes.
