Calvin Pace didn’t even like training camp in high school, so after 13 years in the NFL he has been through a bunch of them and developed a special kind of hatred for every single one. But just a couple of days into Jets coach Todd Bowles’ camp, Pace said it’s tougher than anything noted players’ coach Rex Ryan had put them through.
“Let’s just say it’s a little more strenuous. In a good way,’’ Pace said Sunday. “Yeah, [it’s tougher]. We’ve got to get to know him, he has to get to know us. We’re trying to put some different systems in, so there’s a little more asked of us, and that’s fine.
