Perhaps inspired by watching the Ohio State Buckeys with college football’s National Championship this year, the Jets appear to be looking closely at some of their former players to bolster their roster.
First they added quarterback Justin Fields on the opening day of free agency. He’ll join former teammates Garrett Wilson and Jeremy Ruckert who he connected with many times over in college.

Current Jets DB Kendall Sheffiled is another OSU alum who saw limited for Gang Green last season, and now Darren Mougey has added another Buckeye in center Josh Myers.
