The New York Jets have signed veteran QB Josh McCown to a one-year deal on Monday, according to his agent.

It’s worth mentioning that signing McCown to a contract won’t impact a team’s compensatory picks, considering that he was released.
McCown, 37, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2002. He’s played for several teams over the course of his career including the Lions, Raiders, Dolphins, Panthers, 49ers, Bears, Buccaneers and most recently for the Browns.
