Breaking down preseason Week 2 injuries

In their first road game of the preseason, the New York Jets lost to the Washington Redskins, 15-13. Yes, it was a last-second field goal by the Redskins that sealed the deal but unfortunately for the Jets, they got hit with an injury in their Week 2 preseason loss.

As Stephen Whyno of AP News confirmed, cornerback Jeremy Clark left the game with a hamstring injury. Besides him, several starters on the Jets also didn’t suit up for the game due to injuries.

Offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum was out with a foot injury, offensive guard Brian Winters was out due to an abdominal injury, running back Isaiah Crowell is still dealing with a concussion injury from the preseason opener, and defensive tackle Steve McLendon missed this Week 2 preseason matchup due to a leg injury.
