Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall is no stranger to his new position coach, Karl Dorrell.
The two were together with the Dolphins in 2010-11 when Dorrell was his receivers coach and then quarterbacks coach. Four years later, Dorrell sees a different player with the Jets.
“He’s not the same guy,” Dorrell said of Marshall. “He’s a much improved player. That’s what years of experience does. I had him more in Year 5 or 6, then we had this break and now it’s Year 10 for him. He’s at a level in his game that he is just refining and doing all the little things that are going to make him take his game to another level.
