FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Todd Bowles was happy to see a familiar face at the Jets’ practice facility, even if it was for just a quick visit.
Defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers came in and did some work in his office Wednesday, Bowles said. Rodgers has a serious health issue that likely will prevent him from coaching for the second straight week.
Bowles said there’s “a small chance” Rodgers will be there Sunday when the Jets face the Colts. But Bowles also said Rodgers “needs to rest.”
Rodgers underwent tests for an undisclosed matter. Bowles said they should know the results by next week.
