When most teams make a selection in the later rounds of an NFL Draft, they tend to be players with a lot of potential but usually require a lot of work. So far, that hasn’t been the case with rookie cornerback Parry Nickerson, a sixth-round pick of the Jets in this year’s draft.
So far, Nickerson has been making a name for himself all offseason long as he’s been the talk of training camp so far. He’s always making plays whether it’s tipping passes or getting an interception off of opposing quarterbacks in camps.
Nickerson has his work cut out for him but he’s already proving to be quality depth to have at cornerback behind veteran starters Trumaine Johnson, Morris Claiborne, and Buster Skrine.
