Matt Simms is going to play for some familiar faces.
Rex Ryan’s Bills claimed Simms off waivers on Friday, one day after the Jets parted ways with him. Simms had requested his release, according to a source, and ended up landing in a much better situation in Buffalo. With the Bills he joins a very poor group of quarterbacks in Matt Cassel, EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor. Simms has a much easier path to making the team there than he did with the Jets, where he was on the outside looking in after the team drafted Bryce Petty in the fourth round.
