Sheldon Richardson has gone from a Pro Bowler to practice fodder during training camp, and the transition hasn’t been easy.
“You can say that,” Richardson said following Wednesday’s practice. “You can definitely say that. It’s definitely a humbling experience but you just have to learn from it.
“I consider myself a humble guy off camera, but other than that, it’s just what it is.”
With a four-game marijuana suspension and pending charges from resisting arrest and several traffic violations last month in Missouri — including driving at 143 miles per hour with a loaded semi-automatic handgun in a car that had an odor of marijuana — it certainly has been a humbling offseason for Richardson.
