Before punching Geno, Enemkpali attacked a cop in 2011

IK Enemkpali has a knack for slugging the wrong guy.

The ex-Jets linebacker whose sucker punch sidelined Geno Smith was once charged with punching an off-duty cop moonlighting as a bouncer at a Louisiana restaurant.

Enemkpali was a 19-year-old redshirt freshman at Louisiana Tech in April 2011 when he got into a brawl with the off-duty Arcadia officer working security at Rabb’s Steak House in Ruston. The security man, Hezekiah Perry, managed to unleash pepper spray on Enemkpali.

But Enemkpali (photo inset) kept up his attack, striking Perry in the face until a Lincoln Parish sheriff’s deputy responding to the disturbance stunned the hulking defensive end with a Taser.
