At 5-8, Patriots’ Dion Lewis doing it all for Belichick

Todd Bowles hasn’t faced a Bill Belichick team since he departed Miami four years ago, but he insists his impression of the Patriots has not changed in that time.

“It was a nightmare preparing for them then,” he said. “It’s a nightmare preparing for them now.”

There have been a few changes in personnel over that span, and one of the most dangerous threats now wearing the navy blue and silver is Dion Lewis. Once a tailback struggling for time in Philadelphia and Cleveland, Lewis is the latest threat to emerge out of the Foxborough backfield in his first season with the Patriots.
