Davis, a 2020 third-round pick has been on the shelf all pre-season after missing action to end last season following surgery on his foot.
With Marcus Maye and Lamarcus Joyner set to start at safety for the Jets, Davis will be rotated in when the Jets deploy 3 safeties as the athletic defensive back looks to work toward a starting role next season.
