The Jets put together a stunning offensive game in last Sunday's 34-16 win over the Broncos. Now, the question becomes: How sustainable is that, for a team that still has one of the NFL's least efficient offenses?
The Jets gained 512 yards -- their most since 2013 and just the second time since 2000 that they have cracked the 500-yard mark. The performance boosted the Jets' offense from 30th to 29th in Football Outsiders' DVOA ratings.
Against Denver, they had seven plays of 20-plus yards, including four touchdowns. There were runs of 77 (touchdown), 54, 38, and 36 yards, and passes of 76, 35, and 20 yards (all of which went for touchdowns).
