Antonio Cromartie ‘played like s–t’ in Jets meltdown

OAKLAND, Calif. — It’s hard to find someone on the Jets’ defense whose performance was worse than the player next to him, but cornerback Antonio Cromartie was willing to point the finger at himself.

“I felt like I played like [crap],” Cromartie said after the Raiders 34-20 victory Sunday at O.co Stadium. “I didn’t play to what I need to play up to and what my teammates expect me to play up to every single week. Today wasn’t that day.”

Cromartie was victimized for two long touchdowns in the first half that set the tone for a long afternoon by the Jets’ defense.
