Jets coach Todd Bowles got an endorsement for NFL Coach of the Year from the man who won it last season.
Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said on NFL Network he would vote for Bowles after saying earlier that Panthers coach Ron Rivera would get his vote. Arians’ opinion is not unbiased. He coached Bowles in college at Temple and Bowles was Arians’ defensive coordinator in Arizona for two years before taking the Jets job.
“I’d probably switch my vote now to Todd Bowles now that he has won 10 games and has a chance to get into the playoffs for the first time,” Arians said.
