DETROIT -- The New York Jets drafted Penn State tackle Olumuyiwa "Olu" Fashanu with the 11th pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday in Detroit.
The Jets moved down one spot in the first round in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings. New York acquired the 11th overall pick, plus a fourth-round pick and a fifth-round pick.
Days before the draft, the Jets traded QB Zach Wilson to the Broncos.
The final day of the draft saw the Jets trading away a key contributor.
