Andre Roberts went from a Jets All-Pro to a Jets enemy in record time.
The veteran kick returner, whom the Jets decided not to bring back and has since signed with the Bills, appears to have taken it personally. The 30-year-old called the Jets’ handling of his free agency “a little shady” during his introductory conference call last week, according to the Buffalo News.
Roberts is now looking forward to facing them regularly in the AFC East.
“I think that was the biggest thing first: being able to play the Jets twice a year,” Roberts said when asked what made the Bills a good fit.
