Aldrick Rosas has gone from the Pro Bowl to putting the Giants in a hole.
Rosas missed a PAT for the third straight game, and a botched snapper-holder exchange prevented the kicker from even attempting another as the Giants wound up point-chasing in a 34-27 loss Sunday to the Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Pat Shurmur often says kickers get “to miss one [PAT] in a lifetime,” so the special teams trio of long snapper Zak DeOssie, holder Riley Dixon and Rosas might be on borrowed time in the coach’s eyes.
“I don’t think our confidence is down in any way or anybody is shaky, but when we step on the field we have to put up points and help this team win,” Rosas said.
