After awful game, Jets' Juston Burris insists he can still 'dominate' in NFL

FLORHAM PARK -- During Monday's practice, Jets coach Todd Bowles approached cornerback Juston Burris, who had a brutal game a day earlier, in a 45-20 loss at the Raiders.

The conversation was brief. Bowles told Burris to "keep building, keep working, and keep knowing that you can play with these guys," as Burris recalled.

Bowles also encouraged Burris "to keep my head up," Burris told NJ Advance Media. "My head never went down. I was never not confident in my abilities."

That's the outlook Burris takes into Sunday's Week 3 game against the Dolphins.
