ESPN’s Adam Schefter put his “SportsCenter” appearance on a brief pause Tuesday night, taking a phone call to confirm that running back Le’Veon Bell intended to sign with the Jets after sitting out the 2018 season.
“Hold on one second, I got to take this,” Schefter told Scott Van Pelt as he answered his phone.
Schefter went on to report that Bell’s four-year deal with New York has a maximum value of $61 million with $35 million guaranteed.
Taking to Twitter, Bell, later wrote, “I’m back in green baby, let’s get it.
