It’s been over one week since Aaron Rodgers announced his intention to play for the New York Jets on The Pat McAfee Show. At the time, it was widely believed that the only hold-up in the Jets acquiring Rodgers was his decision on whether he wanted to continue playing football.
However, Rodgers squashed that narrative during his interview with McAfee. Rodgers said the hold-up is not himself, but New York and Green Bay’s discussions about trade compensation. Since then, fans around the NFL have been waiting for the official announcement of the trade.
Unfortunately for everyone, it seems that the trade compensation won’t be resolved soon.
