PHOENIX — New Jets coach Adam Gase has a problem that has plagued four of his predecessors: Tom Brady is still the Patriots quarterback.
But Brady is 41, and the retirement whispers grow every year. How much longer does Gase think Brady can last?
“I don’t know because I wake up and I feel like s–t and he’s older than me,” the 40-year-old Gase joked Tuesday about the star quarterback.
Gase has seen Brady up close for three years as the Dolphins coach. Now, he gets to try to topple Brady with the Jets.
“He’s unbelievable,” Gase said.
