To open their “Boomer and Gio” show Monday morning on WFAN, New York was deemed an NFL Wasteland.
The Giants and Jets have combined for just three wins so far this season, with both teams sharing a wide range of issues. But former Jet Boomer Esiason found the current state of his old team to be particularly vexing, and he was confident he knew who to blame.
“This really has got Adam Gase’s fingerprints all over this now,” Esiason said. “He’s really controlling this franchise. I know there’s a general manager in name, and in name only, we haven’t seen nor heard from him at all.
