Ryan Fitzpatrick has not looked like the quarterback who nearly led the New York Jets to a playoff berth last season. This year, he’s looked a lot like the quarterback who struggled in the earlier part of his career.
Fitzpatrick had three more interceptions in a loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. He tied the Jets record for interceptions in a two-game span with nine (matching Dick Wood in 1964 and Joe Namath in 1970).
Fitzpatrick’s 10 interceptions match Wood’s total from 1963 and Namath’s from 1964 for the most interceptions through the first four games of the season.
