What's the state of the Jets-Giants rivalry heading into this year's 48th annual summer soirée? Some years the heat seems to be higher, some years coolness prevails. This year the rivalry feels to be in cold storage, which is a good thing for both the Jets, under second-year head coach Tom Coughlin, and the Giants, under first-year coach Ben McAdoo as each side goes about the business of getting ready for its own regular-season road ahead.
But Darrelle Revis said the rivalry's still there for him. "I think it's always a New York event," Revis said.
