Owl Back in Philly: Heading into the final week of the preseason, Robby Anderson leads the NFL in both receiving yards (203) and receptions resulting in first downs (8). Six of 11 Anderson’s receptions have gone for 20 yards and he is averaging 18.5 yards a catch. In each of the last two games, Anderson has a touchdown grab. A cornerback at Temple who left the team in 2013, Anderson came back as a non-scholarship athlete, transitioned to wideout, and set a school record that season with 239 receiving yards against SMU. His 70 receptions and 939 receiving yards last season rank second on Temple’s all-time list.
