Seriously. Have you seen what else is out there this offseason, at least in free agency? And remember: A draft pick at No. 20 is likely going to need time to develop. The Jets may need to acquire Fitzpatrick's replacement soon, but this isn't the best year to do it and to find an immediate fix.
If most Jets fans could wave a magic wand, they'd no doubt transform Ryan Fitzpatrick into the kind of high-performing, strong-armed quarterback that seems to play for every other NFL team that wins consistently.
