It’s not often that a New York football team plays on Thanksgiving.

Here are the last five that ended with wins:

1. Nov. 25, 2010 — Jets 26, Bengals 10

Brad Smith scored on an 89-yard kickoff return and also scored on a 53-yard run as Gang Green defeated Cincinnati on its way to the AFC Championship game for the second straight season.

2. Nov. 25, 1982 — Giants 13, Lions 6

Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor picked off a pass and rumbled 97 yards to break a 6-6 fourth quarter stalemate.
