1. Willie on guard: Willie Colon appears to be leading the right-guard competition. He took a majority of the first-team reps at right guard during 11-on-11 team drills, with Brian Winters taking the second-most and Brent Qvale taking the least. At the end of two-minute drills, Colon took all the reps at right guard.
2. Geno the man: There is no quarterback competition. Geno Smith took all the first-team reps under center, while Ryan Fitzpatrick worked entirely with the second team.
3. Cro flies: Antonio Cromartie has shown a weakness guarding the deep ball. Twice Cromartie was beaten by Brandon Marshall.
