3 NFL draft objectives for Jets

The Jets added some nice pieces on offense this offseason by trading for wide receiver Brandon Marshall and signing running back Stevan Ridley, but they don’t have any game-breakers. Mike Maccagnan needs to find some speed for his offense.

2. Address the line

It is time the Jets start rebuilding their offensive line. Nick Mangold and D’Brickashaw Ferguson are getting older and they have no givens at either guard spot or right tackle. The Jets liked Maccagnan’s history with Houston as a strong evaluator of offensive linemen. He needs to show it here.

3. Restock at linebacker

David Harris re-signed in March, but he is 31 and probably only has a few years left.
