Jets rookie safety Jamal Adams and veteran quarterback Josh McCown were named third and fifth alternates respectively for the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster.
Adams, a LSU product who was the No. 6 overall selection in the 2017 Draft, has started all 14 games and ranks fourth on the team with 66 total tackles. He also has racked up two sacks and six tackles for loss. Against the Saints in Week 15 action, Adams’ first career forced fumble led to one of the Jets’ three takeaways. The 6’1”, 213-pound Adams has recovered two fumbles and added four pass defenses in his inaugural pro season.
