Tough start, tough finish and only one game in prime time.
Welcome to the New York Jets' 2017 season.
On paper, this is the Jets' toughest schedule since 2009, based on the opponents' winning percentage from the previous year (.535). Of course, we knew that before Thursday night's schedule release. The new wrinkle is the Jets will open with back-to-back road games for the first time since 1992 -- ouch.
Their only prime-time game is a Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills, which indicates the Jets no longer are seen as a national draw.
Week 1, Sunday, Sept.
