11 absurd records, stats from Jets' Week 1 thrashing of Lions | Most road points in team history, 1st defensive TD in 74 games

For all the weird, wacky and impressive numbers the Jets put up against the Lions, this is probably the most sensational: their 48 points were the most they have ever scored in a road game. The previous record came in a 47-31 win over the Boston Patriots at Legion Field on Sept. 22, 1968.

The Jets scored on a 41-yard TD pass from Sam Darnold to Robby Anderson, a 78-yard punt return by Andre Roberts and a 62-yard run from Isaiah Crowell. It marked the first time the Jets had scored three TDs of 40-plus yards since Dec.
