Every time I think about the spring of 1990, I think about seeing "Back to the Future Part III," with that weird steampunk cowboy flex, and watching John Druce.
If you aren't familiar with the name John Druce, it's because he was supporting cast forward with four different teams from 1988-98. He scored over 22 goals only once. He played over 80 games only once. But in the spring of 1990 for the Washington Capitals, he was a playoff superstar. Druce scored 14 goals in 15 playoff games as part of a 17-point performance in that span.
