It’s hard to believe that another New Year’s Eve will soon be upon the New York Islanders and their fan base. It was certainly a year of contrasts for the Blue and Orange as 2015 brought the slow passing of a legendary coach from a tragic illness and the sudden arrival of two first round draft picks without a moment’s notice on draft day. Legends said farewell to an old home in Uniondale, while current players signed new contracts and said hello to a new home in Brooklyn.
