The Islanders are already alienating loyal fans — and the season hasn’t started yet.
Dan LaRose, of Mineola, paid $55 a game for season tickets in April, several months before the team was scheduled to play its first regular season in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
Then, just a few weeks ago, the Islanders informed him that it had to move four broadcast cameras to comply with NHL rules, blocking his seats right on the red line.
“They offered to move my seats to a higher row much farther from center for the same price, or to give a small discount for this inconvenience,” he said.
