Roster: New York Islanders Rookie Camp Opens Sept. 11-16

"You see, these are what we call appetizers. This is what you eat before you eat, to make you more hungry." --Cartman

Rookie camp is the hockey camp you consume before the regular training camp, to make you more hungry for mid-day updates on scrimmage lines and pairings.

Ahead of the opening of full training camps later this month, the New York Islanders will have their youngest, their (some) unsigned, their most hopeful in town at Iceworks for official Rookie Camp from Sept. 11-16. The initial schedule calls for skates every morning during that time except for Sunday, which will be reserved for worshiping at the banners of Bossy, Potvin et al hanging from the rafters.
