NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — So how well are they doing?
Ever since it was announced a few years ago that the Islanders were leaving Nassau County for Brooklyn’s Barclay Center, there have been concerns about how many fans would make the financial commitment to the team in its new home.
While Barclays Center officials have said repeatedly that season tickets are selling well for the 2015-16 season, how well has been open to some debate.
According to a report in the New York Post, the Isles may not be packing them in like they hoped, because they have resorted to getting new co-owner Jonathan Ledecky involved in the process of wooing core fan base members who haven’t already re-upped for the new season.
