Christian Arnold, Islanders Point Blank:
SYOSSET, N.Y. — The Islanders haven’t even started the regular season and the team is already facing their first test of the year.
Four players are sidelined with injuries, including Thomas Hickey, who will miss the next four weeks with an upper
body injury. Hickey left Monday’s preseason game against the Capitals due to the ailment. The vagueness of the term “upper body injury” certainly raises questions about what exactly is afflicting the Isles defender, but it could very well change up some of the plans head coach Jack Capuano originally had.
